Evanston Green Living Festival

The Evanston Green Living Festival is a fun and educational annual event that is presented by the City of Evanston and the Evanston Environmental Association.  It is held at the Evanston Ecology Center which is located in the natural surroundings of the Ladd Arboretum.

The festival is held to provide a venue where businesses and non-profit organizations can present ideas, products, and services that will help festival attendees lower their personal carbon footprint.  Participants will pick up new green ideas that they can take home and put into practice.

But the festival is not just a place to get exposed to new green concepts.  It's lots of fun too - for both adults and kids.  Attendees can take a bicycle rickshaw ride, sample some tasty food, see the coolest new hybrid and electric cars, listen to great storytellers, attend an eco musical, and pet some of the "critters" who make their home at the Eco Center.

The festival has grown every year in attendance and exhibitor participation, and the EEA expects this year's festival to be the best festival ever.  To find out more about the Green Living Festival, visit the event's web site by clicking HERE.
