Snowshoe Rentals

Snowshoeing has been around for thousands of years and is considered one of the fastest growing winter outdoor activities. Come try out showshoeing by renting a pair and exploring the Ladd Arboretum, or take them to a different location to explore the great outdoors!

The Basics

Stop in to the Evanston Ecology Center and staff will help you with the basics of snowshoeing and answer your questions.

Days & Times

Snowshoe rentals are available Monday through Friday, 9am to 2:30pm, December - February as long as there is at least 3 inches of snow. Dress warmly and wear flat-bottom winter boots. Snowshoes must be returned by 4:30pm, there are no overnight snowshoe rentals.
