Description
Well known for its puffs of purple, Beebalm is alive in summer with bees, hummingbirds, pollinators and other insect visitors, including Sphinx moths for which it is their larval host. There is even a monarda specific bee, Doufourea monardae. Foliage turns to red in autumn for a late season display. Believed more mildew resistant than other monardas.
