EventsThe Evanston Environmental Association (EEA) in partnership with the City of Evanston offers a variety of programs and events throughout the year. To find out more about these outstanding programs, review the descriptions below and then click on the provided links for more details. Bird Buzz Native Plant SaleNative plants offer birds berries to eat, nectar to feed from, insects to eat, and a place to nest. Bees and so many other insects also rely on these plants to create homes and nourishment for their lives. We can be a part of this rewilding! Every year we highlight certain native plants that support the endangered Rusty Patched Bumble Bee (RPBB), which relies on them. Ultimately we want to achieve a richly diverse natural habitat in our City of Evanston and beyond! Sale Proceeds support the EEA's missions to help plant our shared parks and schools with native plants and support the Evanston Ecology Center and its programs. Click HERE to learn more.
