Description
Ninebark is generally easy to grow and adapts to diverse growing conditions from moist Sun to dry-shadier. White-yellow flowers attract diverse small insects. Its woody stems provide winter interest and cover for birds with dark brown to dull orange bark, eventually shredding into thin strips or broad sheets. Berries are seedy and dry. The ultimate size of this shrub depends on soil fertility, moisture levels, and maturity.
