Description
A great rain garden and wildlife plant, Pussywillows are larval host to about 440 species of US caterpillars. So many caterpillars means songbirds! Nuthatches, native Sparrows, Warblers, Vireos, Orioles, Wrens, Cardinals and more visit Pussywillows. Known for their ornamental winter fuzzy catkins, they are silky gray on male plants and smaller, green on female plants. Our young plants are unsexed, so you might consider buying more than one.
