Description
Try replacing non-native hostas with this short, strappy grass-like, semi-evergreen sedge. In the winter rabbits will enjoy some of this great sedge which also feeds seeds to birds and native insects, including the caterpillars of the woodland butterfly, Satyrodes appalachia (Appalachian Brown) which feeds on its leaves.
